SIPA is a parapolice agency, Čović protects Zubac in agreement with Dodik

There is no investigation into the attack on Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić, which occurred on July 11 in Potočari, claim sources of journalist and blogger Slobodan Vasković from the highest security structures in Bosnia and Herzegovina, reports the Patria news agency.

According to them, the investigation should be conducted by SIPA upon the order of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but nothing has been moved from a dead point.

-The truth is that the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina did issue an order to SIPA on July 11, but this agency has done nothing so far nor will it, as things stand, say Vasković's sources.

SIPA behaves as a parapolice agency over which the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina have no control, Vasković reports in his blog.

He recalls that the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of Bosnia and Herzegovina sent a written request to SIPA on June 23 for support in securing the commemorative gathering in Potočari, but received no response. This was also confirmed by Dragan Mektić, Minister of Security, at a press conference.

"My sources further claim that Goran Zubac, the director of SIPA, is protected by Milorad Dodik and Dragan Čović, and that they do not allow his removal. Mektić sought Zubac's removal from the head of SIPA on several occasions, but each time he was met with rejection by Vjekoslav Bevanda, the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers from the Croatian people. Zubac's removal is also opposed by the SDA, demanding that Almir Džuvo, the director of OSA, be removed in a package with him," writes Vasković.

He adds that his interlocutors say that Zubac did not respond to the Directorate's request "by order of political mentors from Banja Luka," and that they are very skeptical about the conduct of the investigation and are more inclined to claim that there will be no results, that everything will be watered down and left to time.

The text further states that high security officials of Serbia call BiH officials daily, insisting that the investigation be conducted quickly and efficiently.

Regarding the incident in Potočari, a session of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina was held, and at it, Chairman Denis Zvizdić accused Džuvo that OSA did not submit any information about possible incidents, but Džuvo denied Zvizdić with a document confirming that on July 7, the Council of Ministers received an Information from OSA stating that possible incidents in Potočari and an attack on Vučić were possible, writes Vasković, adding that the same Information was submitted to police agencies on July 6.

The session of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina was also attended by Ismet Šuškić, a prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who is leading the investigation into the attack on the Serbian Prime Minister, and who, as written in the text, stated at the same session that "it is unlikely that anyone will be able to be arrested, because it is difficult to isolate the persons who did it."

From his sources from the highest security structures of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the journalist received information that Šuškić was specifically chosen as the prosecutor in this case, in order to drag out the investigation and cover everything up: "He will do nothing about it," the sources claim. He will only feign investigative actions.

According to them, Šuškić is a cadre of Dragan Čović, the Croatian member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and president of the HDZ, and is known for arresting the Lijanović brothers on September 10 last year, the day before the official start of the pre-election campaign for the general elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina, who are also leaders of the People's Party Work for Betterment and whose arrest gave a serious advantage to Čović in the elections, Slobodan Vasković recalled.
