Union of the Ministry of Interior of Tuzla Canton on arrested police officer: We expect an impartial and lawful investigation

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - At today's session of the Management Board of the Police Union of the Ministry of Interior of Tuzla Canton, regarding the incident involving a police officer of the Tuzla Police Department, East Police Station, and a member of the Police Union of the Ministry of Interior of Tuzla Canton, the Management Board supports the professional, impartial, and lawful work of judicial institutions and expects a timely, lawful, and impartial investigation by the competent prosecutor's office.

"The Union distances itself from all previous statements to the media made in the name of the union that were not given by authorized persons for communication and mediation, and supports the work of police officers who act in accordance with the law and police powers," stated in the announcement of the Police Union of the Ministry of Interior of Tuzla Canton, signed by President Alić Hasan.
