Sinan Sakić arrested for drug possession

Border police of the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs, at the Trbušnica border crossing, towards the Republika Srpska and BiH, during a detailed inspection, found 2.3 grams of heroin hidden in his underwear on the famous singer Sinan Sakić (58), Večernje novosti confirmed in the police.

Elvis R (36) was in the car with him, and a small amount of marijuana was found on him. He tried to discard it, but the police officers who were inspecting him were faster and properly registered everything.

Due to the drugs, and also because the numbers on the vehicle they were driving to BiH from Serbia did not match those in the registration certificate, Sinan and Elvis were taken to the police and then questioned at the Prosecutor's Office. Given, as we learn, that it is a small amount of drugs, the case will be processed in the regular procedure, and it was assessed that there was no reason to order police custody or detention.

The car they were driving across the Drina will be sent for expert examination. Allegedly, during the interrogation, Sinan Sakić said that he was going to a concert in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and that the "drugs were for those needs".

Just a few days earlier, the singer was a guest at Dragan Kojić Keba's big concert in Loznica, but the audience noticed that he could barely stand to sing, so Keba "covered" for him with his voice and general stage antics.
