Son of the man killed by Šešelj's bodyguard: Regardless of the verdict, I will continue to spread the truth

The Hague Tribunal today acquitted Serbian Radical Party leader Vojislav Šešelj of responsibility for crimes committed in the territory of BiH, Croatia and Vojvodina, against the non-Serb population.

This verdict by the International Court has caused shock among the victims!

Edin Fazlić, the son of the murdered Ibrahim Fazlić, who was personally killed in 1992 by Šešelj's bodyguard Vasilije Vidović in the village of Lješevo in the Ilijaš municipality, told Patria that he is outraged by the verdict. But he will continue to fight for justice and the truth.

- Regardless of the International Court's verdict, I will continue to pass the truth on to younger generations.  The criminal Vidović killed my father. But he still walks freely around Belgrade, as does Šešelj – said Fazlić.

In June 1992, in the village of Lješevo, the Serbian army executed 22 residents of this village. Houses were looted and burned. Fazlić's father survived the shooting, but Vidović approached him again and shot him in the head. One of the indictments against Šešelj also included crimes in Lješevo, but the Hague Tribunal today acquitted him of that responsibility, writes Patria.
