Six defendants in Sky case plead guilty by agreement, Court sentences them from one to five years in prison

(Patria) - In the case codenamed "Staza", six defendants, after considering the prosecution's evidence, in the presence of their lawyers, fully pleaded guilty by agreement to criminal offenses related to organized crime and illicit trafficking of narcotic drugs, after which they were sentenced by the Court of BiH.

In accordance with the plea agreement, the following sentences were proposed for the defendants:

- Defendant Dragan Pejović, known as Bosanac, born in 1985 from Trebinje, to a prison sentence of 5 years, confiscation of illegally obtained property in the amount of 35,000 KM, as well as confiscation of items used to commit the criminal offense, namely a BMW passenger motor vehicle;

- Defendant Anđelko Milošević, known as Ciri, Kirofa, Medo, and Glavonja, born in 1975 from Trebinje, to a prison sentence of 1 year and 6 months, and confiscation of illegally obtained property in the amount of 1,000 KM;

- Defendant Aleksa Mališ, born in 1998 from Trebinje, to a prison sentence of 1 year, confiscation of illegally obtained property in the amount of 1,000 KM;

- Defendant Dušan Mićanović, born in 1992 from Trebinje, a citizen of BiH, to a prison sentence of 1 year, confiscation of illegally obtained property in the amount of 1,000 KM;

- Defendant Nemanja Prnjat, known as Neno, born in 1991 from Trebinje, to a prison sentence of 1 year, confiscation of illegally obtained property in the amount of 500 KM;

- Defendant Dražen Salamadija, born in 1996 from Foča, to a prison sentence of 1 year, confiscation of illegally obtained property in the amount of 1,400 KM.

Within the scope of the plea agreements, the following were confiscated: the narcotic drug marijuana in the amount of 154.7 kg, a BMW passenger vehicle used in the commission of the criminal offense, as well as mobile phones, computers, and communication devices.

All defendants, by pleading guilty by agreement, have committed to testifying in the case codenamed "Staza", which is being conducted against 5 remaining defendants.

The proposed sentences are in accordance with the role and responsibility of the defendants in committing the criminal offense.

By pleading guilty by agreement, the defendants waive their right to a trial and their right to appeal the verdict issued by the Court of BiH based on the agreement.

The plea agreements have been forwarded to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which has accepted the agreements and imposed sentences on the defendants.
