(Patria) - Not a word about the announced construction of a nuclear waste repository on the border of BiH, about the endangerment of 230,000 human lives and the threat to tourism in this area. It is unbelievable that the highest body of SDA does not care about the Una National Park, nor about the rest of the potentially endangered areas in both BiH entities, according to the reaction of Senad Šepić, president of the Independent Bloc after today's conclusions of SDA.
"It is shameful to ignore this problem, which must be stopped urgently, and it is precisely the SDA cadres in the bodies of authority who bear the greatest responsibility, primarily for clarifying the entire situation and adopting concrete measures such as clear reactions from the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH and the Council of Ministers of BiH in which they sit. The established matrix of 'hold the water until the masters leave' has once again come to light here, with which the current leadership of SDA literally sweeps a large part of burning problems under the rug because they are used to dealing with consequences, not causes and prevention. This means 'first let us solve our positions, and then maybe we will think about something'.
Even Goebbels would envy the authors of the conclusions of the last session of the SDA Main Board, where half of the 11 conclusions talk about supporting themselves, states Šepić.
"The SDA leadership praises its cadres in the Tuzla Canton, the SDA leadership praises its cadres in the Council of Ministers of BiH... It is sad to know about so much lack of understanding of the real problems of people in our country from the largest party in BiH today, and to keep in mind the situation, the times we live in and the challenges we are facing in the future. The practice of the armchair approach and the tacit attitude towards everything that is the spoils of decades-long coalition partners also speaks to the obvious policy of division. The combination for the leadership of the Federation of BiH is obviously important in order to continue the well-established practice of controlling public companies and managing spoils and influence," said the president of the Independent Bloc, Senad Šepić.
