Šepić: Novalić has a vision for extracting money from earmarked funds, and Konaković for the richest budget

(Patria) - Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH Fadil Novalić sent an initiative to the Speakers of the House of Representatives and the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament, Mirsad Zaimović and Tomislav Martinović, to urgently place the adoption of the draft law on material support for families with children in this entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the agenda of the sessions of the houses. The Federal government determined this draft law and sent it to the parliamentary procedure last month, and reactions to such a move are still coming in.

"Instead of the politicking of ambitious cantonal players and the hindsight of a prime minister who doesn't know if he's coming or going, the Independent Bloc and I, through our public engagement, have long been seeking implementable and fair solutions to a very important issue such as maternity allowance," said Senad Šepić, president of the Independent Bloc and member of the Statehood Coalition.

I spoke about the rights of mothers, equal incomes for them throughout BiH, in 2012, 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019, 2020, last year, and this year as well, Šepić notes.

"This is confirmed by video statements, links, and parts of media statements that you can see below. The Independent Bloc has this in all its documents and we have submitted initiatives with concrete solutions. This reaction is a response to the cheap, populist, and miserable politicization of this topic, which is important to many people. It's as if maternity allowances are some kind of populist race, and Novalić and Konaković have set out to see who will collect the cream first, whether it's the one who submitted the law on December 7, 2021, or the one who submitted the amendment on January 3, 2022!?, and this is about money from the budget paid by citizens, not these two calculators.

Novalić's vision is to extract money from the defense industry, with a hint of raspberries, for which he spends most of his time in the Court of BiH, while Konaković's limitation to the richest cantonal budget, a canton whose resident, according to him, 'is worth twice as much as those from other cantons', is his ultimate achievement, although he does not lack desires for a national populist cloak.

My call to everyone, and especially to these two, is to vote for an implementable solution and do not crown yourselves with stars without any basis, do not pretend to be mothers instead of mothers, because realistically, both of you are for the bench of substitute players," Šepić emphasizes.
