Šepić: If you want to defeat Dodik - here is the recipe for pro-Bosnian leaders

Stories about heavenly, good and bad peoples launched and accompanied avalanches of evil and suffering 30 years ago, from which we will never fully recover. We do not want such a thing here anymore. History has shown that bad and weak leaders have always resorted to such theses. Without visible results in their work and the time in which they lived. Such theses, as a rule, feed others, similar and even worse leaders than them. And all this stole and steals the time and lives of the people around them.

That is why this rhetoric, which Bakir Izetbegović and Milorad Dodik are again trying to impose on us, must be stopped and rejected, while they are partners in power, hold institutions, vote and protect each other in positions and power... And it is not the first time, we have seen these scenarios many times before. And Dodik is everything that is said about him, just do not acquit him by blaming the people or all the voters who voted for him for his imbecilic actions. It's like blaming the Bosniak people, the voters who voted for SDA, that they are to blame because Bakir publicly lied in Vijećnica in the case of the lawsuit against Serbia, or Asim Sarajlić distributed jobs in ministries for votes for Prevljak to head the Cantonal Committee of this party...

Therefore, such theses make no sense. Because, if you cared about defeating and changing Dodik, you would impose the topic and persevere in the fight for a legal state of equal opportunities for all, be clearly against corruption, demand transparency in public procurement, appoint the most capable and educated people to important positions, work quickly and sincerely on fulfilling the conditions for joining the European Union and NATO, view every inch of your country equally and ensure the same rights and opportunities for all people in every part of BiH...

If the ruling parties, which call themselves pro-Bosnian, behaved like this, Dodik would be smaller than a poppy seed and would have long since disappeared from the political map. Unfortunately, instead, we have messages and actions from leaders that it is important for their wives to be directors because they have good connections; that when you catch them cheating on respirators, it is an attack on Bosniaks; that they trade everything else for private, family directors without a university degree whom they appoint to intelligence services; that they have municipalities that are worth more to them than ten others, or cantons where a resident is worth twice as much as a resident from another canton...

That is why the situation in BiH is as it is, and that is why our response to all these harmful individuals must be sharp and concrete, in which we will not forget the past, but we will only be focused on the future and peace, and Europe and NATO, and a state where power is gained in honest elections, evenly developed in every inch and place where our youth will gladly stay and live. I call on all good people and responsible parties in BiH, as well as our friends from abroad, to help us impose these topics and narratives, to turn to this, and to build such a society and state.
