Senaid Memić presented credentials to the King of Malaysia

(Patria) - Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Malaysia Senaid Memić presented his credentials to the King of Malaysia Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah Ammarhum Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta’in Billah on March 18, 2021.

During the reception that followed the credential presentation ceremony, Memić emphasized that the relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Malaysia are at a high level. He expressed gratitude for the assistance Malaysia provided to our country in the post-Dayton reconstruction process, especially for providing aid through technical cooperation programs and scholarships for students from BiH, it was announced from the BiH Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Malaysian King stressed that Malaysia sees Bosnia and Herzegovina as a true friend and foreign policy partner, expressing his belief that, despite current problems, there is potential for further improvement of relations through political, economic, and cultural cooperation. He expressed his conviction that during Ambassador Memić’s term, the relations between the two countries will be raised to a higher level and that, in addition to the current problems with the COVID-19 pandemic, new opportunities for expanding cooperation between the two friendly countries will open up.

Finally, he wished the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina successful work and emphasized that he will have full support from the Government of Malaysia during his stay and work in that country.
