(Patria) - Heads of parliamentary clubs in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH will hold a meeting in Sarajevo today with the Deputy High Representative and Supervisor for Brčko, Luis Krišok. The talks will be held at his invitation, and members will also have the opportunity to address the Steering Board of the Peace Implementation Council (PIC).
Although most parliamentary clubs have confirmed their attendance, the SNSD Club and the Serb Club – parties of the ruling majority in Republika Srpska – did not respond to the invitation. The opposition from RS, however, will attend the meeting.
The topic of the meeting has not been officially specified. The invitation states that the international community wishes to exchange views on the degree of implementation of the Dayton Peace Agreement and the possibilities for strengthening political stability, institutional functionality, and the continuation of BiH's European path until the general elections in 2026. Key issues are also expected to include the appointment of the chief negotiator for the EU and laws on the Court of BiH and the HJPC.
The meeting will be held from 5 PM to 7 PM, and each club leader will have five minutes for their presentation.
