Seven-year-old Julian Cadman killed in terrorist attack in Barcelona

The family of seven-year-old Julian Cadman, the boy reported missing after the terrorist attack in Barcelona, has confirmed that he was killed, world media report, citing the Patria agency.

- The family of Julian Cadman announced that the boy is one of the victims of the terrorists. Family members of the killed boy thanked all the people who participated in the search for the child, who was reported missing during the van attack in Barcelona - stated in the announcement of the Spanish Bureau for Missing Persons, reports Sky News.

British newspaper Mirror reports that the boy's father Andrew identified the body. 

Julian was with his mother on Las Ramblas street in the center of Barcelona at the moment when a van with terrorists crashed into pedestrians there, reports Podgorica's Vijesti.

After the terrorist attack in which at least 13 people were killed, it was unclear what happened to Julian, who has dual citizenship - British and Australian. 

The day after the attack, media reported that an urgent search for the missing child had been launched and that Julian's grandfather asked Facebook users to share his picture on the network. He also wrote that the child's mother was injured during the attack in Barcelona and that she was found in a hospital in stable condition. 

However, on Saturday, El Mundo reported that the Spanish police announced that the allegedly missing boy Julian Cadman was in a hospital in Barcelona, where he was admitted after the attack. It was stated that he was placed in a hospital for treatment immediately after the attack in Barcelona, and the Spanish police were in contact with his father in Australia.
