Sebija Izetbegović questioned at the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The director of the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo, Sebija Izetbegović, was questioned as a witness at the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina as part of the investigation in the "Respirators" case, confirmed by the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

Izetbegović was questioned by the prosecuting attorneys Džermin Pašić and Mirza Hukeljić. 

The Prosecutor's Office has been working for months on the case of the purchase of 100 respirators from China, for which the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina allocated 10.5 million KM. The purchase was made through the Federal Administration of Civil Protection by Fikret Hodžić, owner of "Srebrena malina", a company engaged in fruit cultivation and processing. Only later was approval sought from the Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices for the import of medical equipment. 

Those suspected in this case are the Federal Prime Minister Fadil Novalić, the suspended director of the Federal Administration of Civil Protection Fahrudin Solak, Hodžić, and the director of the Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices of Bosnia and Herzegovina Aleksandar Zolak.
