SDP: SDA does not give up on attacks on non-Bosniaks in Sarajevo

SARAJevo, (Patria) - The Sarajevo Cantonal Committee of the SDP BiH strongly condemns the renewed attack by the SDA on the SDP's Head of the Caucus in the Sarajevo Canton Assembly, Igor Stojanović.

"Yesterday's Facebook post by Elvis Kondžić, head of the cabinet of SDA President Bakir Izetbegović, equating the Head of the Caucus in the Sarajevo Canton Assembly, Igor Stojanović, with Milorad Dodik, is disgusting, to say the least, but it also shows that the SDA does not give up on attacks on non-Bosniaks in Sarajevo.

Although Igor Stojanović is a minor combatant of the Army of RBiH, a proven patriot of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, for the SDA, that is not enough because he does not accept patriotism on their terms. Stojanović became a target of the SDA the moment he started asking uncomfortable questions in the Sarajevo Canton Assembly regarding the corruption of SDA officials, as well as initiating a session to discuss the catastrophic conditions of treatment and the departure of staff at the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo. We demand a public apology from Elvis Kondžić, as well as from the SDA, because with this they have insulted all members of the Army of BiH who, together with Igor Stojanović, defended the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Also, we are sending them a message that their threats, lies, and media harassment will not silence Igor or other SDP members, because the citizens of our country deserve to hear the truth about everything they have been doing for years against their interests," the SDP announced.
