SDP reminds Izetbegović of SDA officials' crimes in BH Telecom, Talgo trains cases...

SDP BiH rejects accusations from SDA, listing a random sample of criminal acts committed by numerous SDA officials, which have been covered up or are still being attempted to be covered up through their stooges in police and judicial circles, presumably based on the matrix that 'politicians should not be prosecuted,' according to a sharp statement from SDP, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

The Social Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina rejects all claims from the statement issued yesterday by the Party of Democratic Action. SDP claims that SDA is trying to justify the move of its president Bakir Izetbegović with lies, who, live on TV cameras, with a smile on his face, told the citizens of BiH that they do not need a fight against crime and corruption, and that prosecutors in the past 'unjustifiably prosecuted politicians.'

- Defending such views is impossible. They know this very well in SDA, which is precisely why they are trying to divert public attention with lies from the fact that the SDA president and member of the BiH Presidency sent such a shameful, autocratic, and pro-corruption message to the citizens.

Given that SDA apparently thinks everyone has already forgotten about the crime that their officials committed, sponsored, and allowed over the past twenty-plus years, we will remind them on this occasion of just a few cases, which SDP officials, while holding positions in the executive branch, duly reported to judicial authorities.

Unfortunately, thanks to the influence of SDA's installed stooges in the police, courts, and prosecutor's offices, all these examples of crime and corruption are still awaiting prosecution and clarification.

The purchase of Talgo trains, which was directly agreed upon, executed, and paid for by SDA officials in the then-FBiH Government, through which citizens were damaged by more than 120 million KM, and the case is still being investigated by the BiH Prosecutor's Office.

SDA officials directly damaged 'Naftni terminali Federacije' in Ploče by 15 million KM, which the FBiH Government led by SDP had to pay, and the investigation into this case is still ongoing in the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton.

The purchase of the business building of 'BH Telecom' in the center of Sarajevo, which was paid for with more than 35 million KM, almost in complete secrecy, and the entire deal was completed within SDA circles, who have been ruling this company since the end of the war. The BiH Prosecutor's Office is still investigating this as well.

What can be said about the case of siphoning money from the Indirect Taxation Authority of BiH to buy apartments for SDA party leaders, and business premises owned by the godfathers and family friends of Dragan Čović, Izetbegović's personal 'strategic partner,' as unequivocally confirmed by the former director of this institution, Kemal Čaušević, with his testimony. The investigation into this is still ongoing in the BiH Prosecutor's Office.

This is just a random sample of criminal acts committed by numerous SDA officials, which have been covered up or are still being attempted to be covered up through their stooges in police and judicial circles, presumably based on the matrix that 'politicians should not be prosecuted.'

Regarding the fabrications about planting evidence in the case of the former FBiH President Živko Budimir, we remind SDA and their leader that Budimir and his accomplices are being tried before the Municipal Court in Sarajevo for the most serious crimes of corruption and abuse of office, because he is suspected of having 'sold' hundreds of pardons for murderers, rapists, drug dealers, and various other criminals who were thus released from prison. This is presumably in line with SDA's legal doctrine.

We understand that Izetbegović believes that Budimir and other political officials should not be tried, but this is nevertheless just an unfulfilled despotic wish of the current SDA leadership to make decisions in some hidden gatherings about who deserves to be held accountable for committed crimes and who does not.

We want to emphasize that we know that within SDA there are many who genuinely desire a state of law, a state governed by laws, not by people, i.e., Izetbegović and those like him. We are sure that the number of those who will distance themselves from such a policy of the SDA president will constantly grow within this party in the future, because BiH will not become the property of twenty families, as Izetbegović and his gang apparently want to make it – SDP states.

SDP calls on SDA to secure funds in the FBiH budget for the next year to enable the establishment of a federal USKOK, as it is a legal obligation, not a matter of desire or will of any party or individual. SDP reminds of the more than 1,300 cases of political corruption, organized crime, and various forms of abuse of office awaiting prosecution before these bodies, reports NAP.
