SDP strongly condemns the physical attack on the Prime Minister of Zenica-Doboj Canton

The Social Democratic Party of BiH strongly condemns the physical attack on Munib Husejnagić, a member of the Presidency of SDP BiH and, still, the current Prime Minister of Zenica-Doboj Canton, reports the Patria News Agency.

The attack on Munib Husejnagić, a man who has done more in his short one-year term as Prime Minister of ZDC than many of his predecessors, represents an assault on everything that is normal in this country.

Unfortunately, many have forgotten that it was precisely Prime Minister Husejnagić who was among the first, during last year's May floods, to enter the flooded Maglaj with his private boat and help evacuate the endangered population.

 

His selfless help did not stop there, but he also showed maximum commitment on the ground during the reconstruction of the flooded areas, in order to help the endangered citizens overcome the consequences of the floods as quickly as possible.

Although the details of this physical attack are not yet known to the public, SDP BiH believes that the use of physical force against any citizen is reprehensible.

We hope that the judicial authorities will legally punish the attacker of Husejnagić as soon as possible and thus show the citizens that such cases must not go unpunished, it was announced from SDPBiH.
