SDP: Discriminatory practice in education must stop

A session of the Presidency of the Social Democratic Party of BiH (SDP BiH) was held today in Travnik, where the new draft statute of SDP BiH was discussed, on which the Main Board will give its opinion on September 13th, and the delegates of the Sixth Regular Congress on October 3rd in Sarajevo will give the final verdict.

The members of the Presidency also determined the expanded lists of candidates for the Main and Supervisory Boards for the upcoming Sixth Regular Congress, which will be forwarded for adoption to the members of the Main Board.

The Presidency of SDP BiH once again most sharply condemned the discriminatory practice implemented in the education system by the authorities of Republika Srpska through the denial of the Bosnian language, as well as the segregationist practice in the education system of the Central Bosnia Canton, where, unfortunately, children of different nationalities still do not attend school together and do not live with each other, but next to each other, thanks to the retrograde policy still pursued by the authorities in this canton.

Following the session of the Presidency, an intra-party debate of all candidates for the president of SDP BiH for the Central Bosnia Canton area was also held in Travnik.
