SDP BiH Sarajevo: We will inform the OHR and the Prosecutor's Office about pressures and influence on the CEC

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The 3rd session of the Sarajevo SDP's Stewardship was held, discussing the election of Bogić Bogićević as the Mayor of Sarajevo.

After the voting in three out of four Sarajevo municipalities is completed, it is clear that the SDP and its partners will have enough elected councilors to elect the Mayor of Sarajevo.

However, what worries the Sarajevo SDP is that some elected officials are boasting in Council sessions that they will change the model of electing city councilors and alter the democratic will through trading influence in the Central Election Commission of BiH.

Sarajevo SDP will, in a document next week, inform the OHR about potential abuses by CEC officials in preparation for the CEC session, as well as the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office about potential criminal acts by certain elected officials, and we will inform the media and the public about everything.
