SDP BiH: The Prime Minister must resign from the defendant's bench along with the Director of Elektroprivreda BiH

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The clubs of deputies and delegates of SDP BiH in the House of Representatives and the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH are demanding from the leadership of the Parliament of FBiH an urgent and immediate convening of sessions of both houses to discuss the situation in the mines and the position of miners in the Federation of BiH.

Also, SDP BiH is demanding the resignations or dismissals of the key individuals responsible for the problems that miners and mines have been brought into, the director of Elektroprivreda BiH, Admir Andelija, and the Prime Minister of the FBiH Government, Fadil Novalić.

"We fully support the eight realistic, rational, and fair demands of the Independent Trade Union of Mine Workers of FBiH and believe that this is the minimum that needs to be done immediately.
Although the FBiH Government announced the restructuring of mines and the maintenance of the achieved level of miners' rights at the beginning of the year, the opposite happened on the ground. While the public's focus was on Dodik's attacks on the institutions of BiH and its sovereignty and territorial integrity, the SDA government reduced miners' salaries. Lies, fraud, and deception have become a customary practice of the deeply compromised Prime Minister of FBiH, Fadil Novalić, and his government.

Deputies and delegates of SDP BiH have regularly warned in the Parliament of FBiH about the poor position of miners, fought for their rights, and endured false accusations, but we never gave up seeking better conditions for miners. Miners know this well, and through this channel, we want to state very clearly that SDP unequivocally supports the miners, their protest, and the demands put forward.

Regardless of the ignorant and dismissive attitude towards miners by Novalić and the SDA government, the miners will win this battle too. Unfortunately, everyone will be left with a bitter taste because they were forced to seek their deserved and earned rights on the street. Therefore, all those who brought them to this position must bear responsibility. It is time for them to leave on their own or be replaced," stated SDP BiH.
