SDP BiH calls on prosecutors to investigate FDS sale and prevent criminal plan

The Government of the Federation of BiH, led by the SDA-SBB coalition and the HDZ, today carried out an unprecedented robbery of state property through the sale of state shares in Fabrika duhana Sarajevo. State capital was purchased by CID Adriatic Investments GmbH, a company registered in Vienna with two employees that does not even have a website, it was announced from the Social Democratic Party of BiH, Patria reports.

The statement sent to the public by this "renowned company" clearly states that after they are registered in the securities register as owners of the shares, which until today belonged to the state, they will proceed to resell them to the company British American Tobacco. Therefore, it is clear that the leaders of the FBiH Government, knowingly and in agreement with persons known to them, enabled illegal enrichment of whoever is behind this phantom company from Vienna.

Also, the same statement clearly states that they will try to resell only the production part of Fabrika duhana Sarajevo to British American Tobacco, while the remaining stakes of this company in other companies and banks will remain in the possession of the company with two employees.

We remind SDA-SBB and HDZ that FDS is the majority owner of "Vakufska banka" d.d. Sarajevo, which alone is worth more than the money paid for the state shares, or the company UPI which owns a skyscraper in the center of Sarajevo, which is also more valuable than the amount for which Novalić sold the state stake in FDS.

We call on the competent prosecutor's offices in BiH to react immediately and without delay to this brazen robbery and to prevent this criminal plan that is being carried out before the eyes of the public by the powerful hidden behind the leaders of the ruling parties.
