SDP BiH: We support the independent and lawful work of judicial institutions, we expect other actions

Regarding the arrest of former ministers appointed by the Social Democratic Party of BiH, we want to clearly and unequivocally emphasize our support for the independent and lawful work of all judicial institutions in BiH, it was announced from SDP BiH, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

- The fight against crime and corruption in BiH has always been a top priority for SDP, and we will continue to pursue such a policy in the future. Everyone must be held accountable for their actions, regardless of who they are or what position they hold. The goal of SDP BiH is to create a society in which everyone is equal before the law, because that is not the case today.

We expect the judiciary to conduct a lawful procedure based on evidence and facts, where party affiliation will play no role. We will react to such abuses, if they occur, just as clearly and sharply.

We hereby call on the competent prosecutor's offices in BiH to finally start processing the dozens of criminal complaints filed by SDP and SDP representatives in various institutions over the past ten or more years. The damage suffered by the state in these cases is measured in billions of convertible marks.

We once again demand that the Government of FBiH cease its two-year obstruction of the implementation of the Law on Combating Corruption and Organized Crime in FBiH. If they do not do so, the SDA-SBB HDZ government will clearly align itself with the accomplices of hundreds of criminals who are protected by the non-implementation of this law.
