SDP BiH: We Support the Fight Against Corruption and Organized Crime

SDP BiH issued a reaction to the FUP operation in which Hamdija Lipovača, the technical mandate prime minister of Una-Sana Canton and a long-time high-ranking SDP official, was deprived of liberty.

- SDP BiH does not wish to draw premature conclusions regarding the arrest, as well as any potential court proceedings against Hamdija Lipovača, until the investigative process is fully conducted and all facts related to this case are established. The Social Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina believes that everyone should be held accountable for their actions and that no one can or should be above the law of this country, regardless of the individual in question - the statement said, as reported by the Bosnian news agency Patria.

Therefore, we expect the judiciary and police to carry out their investigative actions in this case professionally and responsibly, and also, we will not allow anyone to criminalize SDP BiH based on this case, a party that has always unconditionally supported the fight against corruption and organized crime and will continue to do so in the future, the party stated.
