SDP BiH will continue to insist on putting public money to work for the people and the economy

SARAJevo, (Patria) - The Social Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina believes that by refusing to consider the SDP's "Corona 2" law, i.e., the Law on Mitigating the Negative Economic Consequences Caused by the Coronavirus, on an urgent basis, HDZ and SDA have once again confirmed their disinterest in the problems of both the economy and the citizens of FBiH.

By refusing to consider a legal solution that would provide comprehensive systemic support to workers and the economy as a whole, SDA and HDZ have turned their backs on the citizens of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The refusal to provide a package of aid to citizens and the economy without any explanation shows that they are united, at least when it comes to retaining budget money for their own needs.

The needs and relief for the economy are clearly completely irrelevant to SDA and HDZ on the eve of the local elections. It seems more important for them to guard the budget for the election campaign than for the people to whom the money actually belongs. Despite the shameful, belated, and completely insufficient aid to the economy, SDA and HDZ remain persistent in their selfish neglect of the existential needs of the citizens.

SDP BiH will continue to insist on putting public money to work for the people and the economy, and we will continue to offer legal solutions in that direction. Public money must not be a source of enrichment and preservation of power for the ruling elites, but must be exclusively used to preserve and create jobs, the party announced.
