SDA requested an extraordinary session on the 2018 budget

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Party of Democratic Action (SDA) demands the scheduling of an urgent session of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH to discuss only one item on the agenda: the Bill on the Budget of Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and International Obligations of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2018.

The SDA Caucus today sent an official request to the Chairperson of the House of Representatives to convene an urgent session.

According to the Rules of Procedure of the House of Representatives, the budget for the next year must be adopted by the end of the current year.

We remind you that the bill on the budget is already in the parliamentary procedure and that the commissions have also held discussions, so any further delay in its adoption is unfounded, irresponsible, and harmful, the SDA believes.

- There are quite enough working days until the end of the year, so there is no need to introduce Bosnia and Herzegovina into a temporary financing regime for the next year - this party emphasizes.
