SDA: The Prosecutor's Office of BiH does not prosecute those who threaten genocide, but those who oppose it

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - SDA demands that the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, when forming cases, opening investigations and filing indictments, applies the prescribed procedures and laws equally to all citizens, which is currently clearly not the practice.

This is also shown by the case of Elmedina Muftić, a writer from Vareš, who was summoned by the Prosecutor's Office of BiH to give a statement due to comments on social networks, which allegedly spread religious and national intolerance.

"Anyone who had the opportunity to see what kind of comments are involved, it is clear that there is no criminal offense, but rather an attempt to silence all those who oppose the chauvinistic statements of certain politicians.

Such actions reverse the theses and apply double standards. Instead of prosecuting a large number of people who threaten genocide with their statements and speak about Bosniaks in a xenophobic and chauvinistic manner, and indeed use hate speech and incite religious and national intolerance, those who publicly oppose this are prosecuted. This time, a new Islamophobic criterion seems to have been introduced - the hijab.
