SDA on migrants: We demand EU reaction, pressure on Bosniaks is being intentionally created

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - SDA fully supports all police and security agencies in Bosnia and Herzegovina to take all necessary measures without delay and decisively and use all capacities in establishing public order and peace in migrant centers, it was announced today from this party.

"An incident like the one that happened last night in the migrant center in Blažuj, the attack on police officers, as well as damage to property and official equipment, and assaults on BiH citizens and endangering their lives and property, must not go unpunished. All migrants participating in criminal offenses and incidents must be prosecuted in the strictest manner and deported from BiH.

SDA calls on all competent institutions, especially the Council of Ministers, to more decisively resolve the problems caused by the migrant crisis. We call on all political actors at the state level to finally make decisions that would help the Ministry of Security and distribute the burden of the migrant crisis to the entire territory of BiH, and not just to two cantons and areas where Bosniaks are the majority. 

We call on the institutions of the European Union to provide more intensive and concrete support to Bosnia and Herzegovina, not only in the humanitarian but also in the security and political aspects of the migrant crisis, because it is evident that this crisis is being used for other purposes by intentionally creating pressure on Bosniaks," the statement said.
