Federal Minister of Internal Affairs Aljoša Čampara supports the Democratic Front's proposal for the Financial Police to enter all state-owned companies and check their operations.
He also says that SDA is in favour of other investigative bodies getting involved in the checks, writes the Patria News Agency.
-However, this does not mean that the Government, as the executive body of power, is not doing its job. That is, the entry of the Financial Police and other investigative bodies into state-owned companies should not be a signal to stop the process of changes in the management structure of these companies, Čampara explains.
He states that losers should not be absolved or protected.
-There are companies where the management's mandate has expired and new people need to be appointed. We cannot now stop this process until the Financial Police and other investigative bodies complete their checks and wait for their reports, Čampara emphasizes, stressing that everyone should do their job.
-The Government should deal with reforms, not daily political matters, he emphasizes, adding that the Financial Police can and should do its part of the job in state-owned companies even without a government request.
