SDA: Institutions and citizens paid the price of Trojka's populism and cowardice

(Patria) - The adoption of the Budget of the Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, almost a year late and with content nearly identical to the original proposal of the SNSD Minister of Finance, is yet another consequence of the ignorance, incompetence, and political cowardice of the Trojka, the SDA announced.

"The price of their calculations has already been paid by state employees, who, due to the delays this year, missed out on the legally mandated salary increase.

The price is also being paid by cultural institutions of national importance, BHRT, and the Armed Forces of BiH, which have become victims of the populism of BiH Presidency member Denis Bećirović. He publicly boasted about his budget proposal, which included funds for these institutions, even though he never attempted to secure support within the ruling coalition, or even the Trojka, for the adoption of such a budget. Bećirović's focus was again on media effect, not on the interests of the state, its institutions, and citizens.

Similarly, the adoption of the Reform Program for the Growth Plan was delayed by a year, due to which the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina were deprived of more than 200 million euros in European Union aid. In the end, the original proposal was adopted, in which the Trojka agreed to all of the SNSD's demands.

Delays, stagnation on the European and NATO path, failure to adopt reform laws, international embarrassment of the state due to the cancellation of the summit, feigned dissolution of coalitions with empty threats of bulldozers, while simultaneously making regular appointments of personnel in the Council of Ministers of BiH, confirm that this mandate not only failed to meet expectations but was literally consumed by the Trojka's locusts.

Instead of the promised great progress on the Euro-Atlantic path, reforms, and changes in the political paradigm with the arrival of 'completely different negotiators,' we got scandals, political stagnation, crisis, improvisation, the collapse of institutions, and the strengthening of destructive policies that dictate the rhythm of the state's functioning," the SDA statement said.
