SDA: Prosecutor's Office's inertia and passivity in Višković case politically motivated

(Patria) - The Party of Democratic Action believes that the BiH Prosecutor's Office, led by Gordana Tadić, is showing inertia in the case of the role of RS entity Prime Minister Radovan Višković in the commission of genocide in Srebrenica.

"This represents an unacceptable attitude that further erodes the credibility of this judicial institution," the SDA believes.

The party states that the Prosecutor's Office has done virtually nothing after allegations emerged from testimonies before the BiH Court and the Hague Tribunal that incriminate Višković.

"The mere notification that they have already 'formed a case' means that they have been avoiding taking concrete actions for a long time, which is illegal and scandalous in itself," the SDA says.

They believe that "it is obvious that this inertia and passivity of the Prosecutor's Office in the Višković case is politically motivated.".

"Gordana Tadić has introduced double standards into the Prosecutor's Office, according to which the Prime Minister of the RS is not arrested even after being suspected of the most serious war crimes, while Bosniak officials are arrested and prosecuted based on flimsy indications," the Party of Democratic Action announced.
