SDA: Dodik's announcement that he would block BiH's EU path because of Russia removes all masks

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - With Milorad Dodik's statement to Russian media that he would block Bosnia and Herzegovina's path to the European Union because of Russia, all masks are falling and the essence of his policy is completely revealed, according to the Party of Democratic Action's reaction to the aforementioned statement.

"The goal of that policy is to stop BiH's path towards NATO and the European Union by violating and not respecting laws and decisions, as well as the foreign policy orientation previously determined by the consensus of all parties, and to deliver BiH to Russia and completely subordinate it to its interests. Why he is doing this and whether it is some kind of blackmail, Dodik should first and foremost answer to the impoverished residents of the RS entity, who, fleeing the catastrophic economic consequences of his policy, are not going to Russia, but precisely to the member countries of the EU and NATO," said the SDA.

They add that "all of this clearly indicates that the correct policy is not to give in to Dodik's policy of blackmail and threats regarding the ANP (Annual National Program)".

"Because, if concessions were made on this issue, it is obvious that new blackmail and threats would follow, and the imposition of exclusively Dodik's and the RS entity's will on the entire country," the SDA believes.
