SDA: Dodik intensifies attack on BiH institutions, servile 'trojka' blinds the BiH public

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The decision of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska to withdraw judges from the Constitutional Court of BiH is the latest in a series of dangerous moves by the authorities of this entity to undermine the Dayton Peace Agreement, according to the Party of Democratic Action (SDA).

"The withdrawal of personnel from the Constitutional Court of BiH, as one of the key institutions for the country's stability, aims to enable the authorities of the Republika Srpska entity, by violating the obligations of the Dayton Peace Agreement, to block the work and ultimately render meaningless and destroy the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The attack on this institution is just one such example, as officials from the Republika Srpska entity who hold positions at the state level have refused for two years to participate in the appointment of the Management Board of the Central Bank, and for over a year have avoided appointing the general staff of the Armed Forces of BiH.

Organized attacks on the most important state institutions are encouraged by the inadequate reactions of the international community, whose obligation it is to monitor the implementation of the Dayton Peace Agreement and react to anti-Dayton activities," the SDA announced.

The SDA calls on the witnesses to the Dayton Peace Agreement, the Peace Implementation Council, and the Office of the High Representative in BiH to finally provide a real response to the radical and destructive policy in BiH and react appropriately.

"It is necessary to make it clear to everyone in Republika Srpska, and especially to the ruling elite led by Milorad Dodik, through clear, concrete actions, that they will face consequences for policies that threaten stability and peace in BiH.

We also warn the public about the behavior of the 'trojka' (the three parties in power), who are aware of what Dodik is doing, but by their servile attitude, they are helping him, and all the time they try to create the illusion of a 'good situation' and 'relaxed relations' in public.

In this way, they absolve Dodik, and they blind the pro-Bosnian part of the public. It is obvious that there is also an agreement that member of the Presidency Bećirović rhetorically, without any concrete effect, supposedly opposes Dodik, while his SDP and other 'trojka' parties practically help Dodik," the SDA stated.
