SDA: Today's verdict is a satisfaction for the victims

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Today's verdict by the Hague Tribunal, by which the leaders of the so-called Herceg-Bosna were sentenced to 111 years in prison, represents a partial satisfaction for the victims of the crimes. Our attention at this moment should be directed precisely towards the victims of the crimes, according to the Party of Democratic Action.

- We believe that today's verdict has finally confirmed the truth about the events to which it refers.

The Hague Tribunal, in a process that lasted more than 13 years, during which 320 witnesses were heard and 9,872 other pieces of evidence were presented, correctly established the essential facts. Therefore, instead of debating the decisions of the Hague Tribunal, we should turn to respecting and implementing those decisions.

Today's verdict does not concern the entire Croatian people, but rather members of a joint criminal enterprise who, with the intention of dividing BiH, committed numerous crimes.

We can only build mutual relations on the basis of truth and justice. That is the only way for both BiH and the region - it is stated in the SDA's statement.
