SDA Bihać welcomes agreement on relocating migrants from Bira

(Patria) - GO SDA Bihać welcomes the adopted conclusions from the meeting between Minister Cikotić and representatives of the Una-Sana Canton (USK) authorities, after which the relocation of migrants from the city of Bihać will begin. We express our satisfaction that the Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina has begun to implement concrete steps and activities to resolve the migrant crisis in Bihać and other locations. We expect the city authorities in Bihać and the USK government to enable the relocation of migrants from Bira as soon as possible through concrete activities.

We remind that GO SDA Bihać supported the relocation of migrants from Bira and from the city streets of Bihać and their accommodation in the Lipa center, acting through the City Council, supported all decisions that led in that direction, in order to accommodate the migrants, and thus control the security and health-epidemiological situation in the city of Bihać. We believe that there should be no politicking and populism in resolving the migrant crisis, and there must be full coordination of all levels of government in BiH, from state to local. The latest activities give us hope that the crisis will be resolved in precisely this way.
