(Patria) - High Representative Christian Schmidt met today in Sarajevo with the Registrar of the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Courts (IRMCT) Abubacar M. Tambadou, and discussed the entry of judgments rendered by the ICTY and MICT into the criminal records in BiH.
“I support this initiative. Citizens of BiH against whom international courts have rendered judgments should not be able to obtain certificates from domestic criminal records that do not state this.
A society that strives to build a better future must accept the facts from its history that have been the subject of court judgments,” said the High Representative.
