SBiH: We welcome developments from our eastern neighbor

Amer Jerlagić, president of SBiH, commented on the statements of Vuk Drašković, reports the Patria News Agency.

- On my behalf and on behalf of the members of the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina, I welcome the news coming from our eastern neighbor. Yesterday, 8 members of military formations were arrested in the territory of the Republic of Serbia on suspicion of participating in the execution of more than 1,000 innocent people in the area of Srebrenica, and these days we are witnessing cathartic testimonies from the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, the president of the Serbian Renewal Movement and one of the loudest Serbian nationalists in the last thirty years, Vuk Drašković – the statement reads.

It is further stated that "without delving into the motives, reasons, and timing of these statements by Vuk Drašković, what is important is to recognize that all statements made by Drašković should serve as a reference in preventing the relativization of the truth about genocide, aggression against BiH, and crimes in the territory of our homeland".

These references should also serve the academic community in the final proving and clarification of the truth, which has long been crystal clear to us. I emphasize that this is the second Minister of Foreign Affairs of a neighboring country, after Čedomir Jovanović, who is finally helping Serbia to emerge from the parallel universe, created by Dobrica Ćosić and his associates, by accepting, albeit in small increments, but important for the process of reconciliation in the region, Serbia's implicit responsibility for genocide, aggression, and crimes in Bosnia and Herzegovina – it is stated.

Also, there is no doubt that such testimonies also help the court proceedings in The Hague, especially in the cases of Mladić and Karadžić.
