Sberbank becomes ASA Bank's property

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - ASA Bank bought Sberbank BiH, announced Jasmin Mahmuzić tonight at a press conference of the Banking Agency of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.  

Let's recall, the Banking Agency of the Federation of BiH announced on Sunday that they are taking over the management of Sberbank BiH, and that customers have no reason to worry because there is no Russian element in this bank in our country.

He emphasized that all citizens' deposits are safe and that there is no reason for concern.

- I would ask depositors to be understanding and to believe that the bank is stable. There is a physical limitation for each deposit, it takes time for everyone to get their money. So, unnecessary panic and a feeling that something is happening are created in that case, when you see a large queue of people. Clients can request their money, the bank and ATMs will work normally, online services will work normally - Mahmuzić emphasized.

He stated that they will do everything to preserve Sberbank BIH and added that there is no fear that the events in Ukraine will negatively affect the bank's operations.
