SARAJevo, (Patria) - State institutions can finally proceed with the budget preparation procedure for this year. Patria learns that the session of the Fiscal Council, where the Global Fiscal Balance and Policy Framework in BiH for the period 2022-2024 was adopted, has concluded.
Just a few days ago, there was no agreement on this issue. Earlier, representatives of Republika Srpska opposed the increase of the BiH institutions' budget by 85 million marks, which should be used for the final increase in salaries for state officials and members of security agencies.
In addition, the saga surrounding the state institutions' budget is also current due to the elections in BiH. Without the adoption of the budget, it would be difficult to secure funds for their implementation.
Today, the Council of Ministers of BiH adopted the base for salary calculation for 2022 in the amount of 535 KM, as it was in 2009. It will be applied from next month from the date of adoption of the budget of institutions for 2022.
