Savo Marinković suspected of murdering Sarajevo police officers, international warrant issued

SARAJevo, (Patria) - At the proposal of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office, the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo ordered one-month detention for Savo Marinković. At the same time, at the proposal of the Prosecutor's Office, an order was issued for an international warrant, said the spokesperson for the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office, Azra Bavčić, for Patria.

Savo Marinković is suspected of murdering two police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton Police Administration, Adis Šehović and Davor Vujinović, on October 26, 2018, in Alipašino Polje.

After one of the suspects for the murder of the police officers, Aleksandar Macan, surrendered and was questioned, the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office requested detention for Marinković. 

Macan allegedly told the prosecutors during the questioning that he did not kill the police officers, but Marinković did.

Savo Marinković is currently in prison in Germany for another criminal offense.
