Saudi and Iranian Foreign Ministers Discussed Regional Developments

(Patria) - Saudi Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, received a phone call on Sunday from his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

"During the call, they discussed regional developments and efforts aimed at de-escalation and calming tensions in the region," SPA stated, Al Arabiya reported.

Iranian state media reported that the foreign ministers discussed the latest regional developments and ongoing diplomatic efforts.

During the conversation, Araghchi informed Prince Faisal about Iran's "latest diplomatic efforts aimed at ending the war and reducing tensions," Iranian state media reported.

Araghchi traveled from Islamabad to Moscow on Sunday, moving from capital to capital as mediators hoped to hold peace talks between Tehran and Washington.
