(Patria) - Saudi Arabia has expressed deep concern over military escalations in the region and the seriousness of
their consequences, according to a statement from the Kingdom's Ministry of Foreign Affairs early on Sunday, Arab media report.
The Kingdom called on all parties to exercise the "highest level" of restraint and spare the region and its people the dangers of wars.
It also emphasized the need for the UN Security Council to assume its responsibility for maintaining international peace and security and warned that the escalation of the crisis will have "serious consequences" if it spreads.
