Saudi Arabia had record non-oil exports last year

(Patria) - Saudi non-oil exports reached a record 515 billion riyals ($137.29 billion) in 2024, the official Saudi News Agency (SPA) announced, as the Kingdom continues its effort to diversify its economy and move away from oil dependency.

Non-oil exports increased by thirteen percent compared to the previous year, and by over 113 percent since the launch of the Saudi Vision 2030 program, SPA added, Reuters reported.

SPA quoted Abdulrahman Althukair, CEO of the Saudi Export Development Authority, who attributed the jump in non-oil exports to the Kingdom's "continuous efforts in economic diversification".

On Friday, Saudi Arabia released the annual report for 2024 for the Kingdom's Vision 2030 plan, according to which it attracted foreign direct investment worth $20.69 billion.
