Hours-long meeting between Trump, Zelensky and delegations in Florida

(Patria) - Talks between Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky have begun in Mar-a-Lago, Florida. Both presidents have delegation members.

Alongside Donald Trump, the American delegation includes Secretary of State Marco Rubio and special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. General Dan Caine, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the highest-ranking military official in the United States, is also attending the meeting.

Ahead of the meeting, Trump expressed confidence that negotiations on ending the war are in their final stages, emphasizing that a "quick" end to the conflict is possible. However, he warned of severe consequences if a solution is not reached soon.

"Either it will end, or it will continue for a long time, and millions more people will die. And nobody wants that," Trump stated.

Before the meeting with the Ukrainian delegation, Trump had a lengthy phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
