(Patria) - Iran calls for an investigation into US attacks on its nuclear facilities.
The head of the Iranian Nuclear Agency, Mohammad Eslami, sent a letter with a request to the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, reported the Iranian news network SNN.
Eslami called on Grossi to condemn the US action and take appropriate measures. He criticized Grossi for his "inaction and complicity," adding that Iran will take "appropriate legal measures".
Earlier, Grossi said he was convening an urgent meeting of the IAEA's 35-member Board of Governors following US airstrikes, which will be held on Monday.
Most of the highly enriched uranium from the Fordo nuclear facility was moved before the attacks, Reuters reported, citing a senior Iranian official who said the material was transferred to an unknown location.
According to the same report, the number of personnel at the site was also reduced.
Satellite images of Fordo taken yesterday and the day before show lines of trucks forming outside the facility.
