A meeting was held in Belgrade between the President of Republika Srpska Željka Cvijanović and the BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik with the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev.
At the beginning of the meeting, which was open to journalists, Medvedev highlighted Dodik's contribution to common relations and stated that he was pleased to see him again.
- Our cooperation with the Russian Federation is excellent. Of course, Republika Srpska has much better relations with Russia than the rest of BiH. In Banja Luka, we are building a Russian-Serbian center, which is proof of the great friendship between our two peoples - stated Dodik.
Medvedev noted that the last meeting between Dodik and him was in Minsk, and stated that cooperation with Republika Srpska is only going upwards.
- The Russian Federation nurtures friendly relations with BiH, but especially with Republika Srpska, because our peoples have much in common, especially a history that we can be proud of - stated Medvedev.
