Saša Toperić and Tom Yazdgerdi to hold a concert in Washington in memory of the victims of the Srebrenica genocide

Maestro Saša Toperić, our renowned pianist and senior fellow at the Center for Transatlantic Relations SAIS at Johns Hopkins University in Washington, and Tom Yazdgerdi, Director of the Office of South and Central European Affairs at the State Department, who also plays the piano, will hold a concert in Washington in May, in the atrium of the World Bank in Washington, in honor of the victims of the Srebrenica genocide, the Patria News Agency has learned. 

Dr. Toperić does not actively perform due to his activities on the international political scene within the Center for Transatlantic Relations SAIS in Washington, and his last concert was in Tokyo 3 years ago, with proceeds going to the children of Fukushima.

As we have learned, the concert in honor of the victims of the Srebrenica genocide is part of a large project, a series of events marking the 20th anniversary of the end of the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Dayton Peace Agreement, and the Srebrenica genocide, jointly organized by the Center for Transatlantic Relations SAIS, the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Washington, the U.S. Institute of Peace in Washington, and the Bosnian-American Foundation.
