Šarović with UAE delegation: Ensuring meat exports to Middle Eastern countries

Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Mirko Šarović today received the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to BiH, based in Rome, Sager Nasser Al Raisi, who presented Minister Šarović with an invitation from the relevant minister of the United Arab Emirates for a meeting and talks on economic and trade cooperation and contractual regulation of trade, especially the export of our products to this country, reports Patria agency.

In recent months, the Ministry, led by Minister Šarović, has taken a number of steps to enable BiH to be on the list of countries whose meat and meat products can be exported to Middle Eastern countries.

- We have quality and competitive products. Two-thirds of what we produce we export, and to the most developed EU countries, which speaks volumes about the quality of our products and the need to open new markets - emphasized Minister Šarović.

The meeting also confirmed Bosnia and Herzegovina's participation in the prestigious global fair Expo 2020 in Dubai. It was concluded that participation in this significant event will be a great opportunity for creating new business opportunities and connections for BiH businessmen, and that our country will be presented in the best possible way in this regard. Expo 2020 is expected to be visited by 25 million people, and about 120 countries worldwide have already registered their participation.
