SARAJEVO, (Patria) – The President of the Serb Democratic Party, Mirko Šarović, said that the signed Agreement on the formation of government at the state level, signed by the presidents of SDA, SNSD and HDZ BiH, is being interpreted in different ways by everyone.
“It will be interesting to see the implementation of this Agreement because everyone sees it in their own way. We from the SDS believe that this document is a capitulation of Milorad Dodik's and SNSD's policy. For us, this is a clear paving of the path for Republika Srpska towards NATO and a defeat for the policy of military neutrality, the policy of not joining any military alliance, and a departure from the policy of adhering to Serbia's stance on this issue,” said Šarović.
The President of the SDS said that Dodik paid a high price for entering the Council of Ministers of BiH.
“All masks have fallen, and after the admission of one participant, it is now completely clear who can be called a traitor, who does not deviate from their strategic principles, and who does. This document states that the path to NATO will be slower in the next three years, but this coincides with the rest of the mandate of the 'trojka' (three parties), and this means that NATO integrations would be completed in that new convocation of the Council of Ministers,” Šarović points out.
Šarović believes that the implementation of this Agreement will produce tectonic shifts in RS.
“The question arises whether the Resolution on Military Neutrality adopted by the National Assembly of RS will be abolished.”
Šarović commented on the Agreement reached by the presidents of SDA, SNSD, and HDZ in a humorous tone.
“As soon as we from the SDS became interested in entering the Council of Ministers, this trio suddenly agreed very quickly. We from the SDS have always said that these negotiations lead to a dead end. Even according to us, this Agreement is not any guarantee that it will be fully implemented. We in the SDS believe that a new Council of Ministers should be formed, but one that has a minimum of common chemistry to be able to work together,” said Šarović.
