Sarajlić took 50,000 KM from Vitez businessmen for a coffee, concrete plant never started

Businessman from Vitez, owner of the company Kalvarija – Cop, Pero Gudelj (co-owner his brother Slavko), despite promises from the current SDA state representative, and then mayor of Vogošća Municipality Asim Sarajlić made nine years ago, has not started the operation of the concrete plant, and the losses incurred amount to hundreds of thousands of marks, writes Patria.

In 2007, according to businessmen from the Vogošća Industrial Zone, Sarajlić took 50,000 KM from Gudelj "for a coffee", and in return promised him that he would receive all the necessary permits.

And when Gudelj invested a huge amount of money in purchasing land and machinery, he found himself in trouble. After obtaining the building and urban planning permit from the Municipality, residents of surrounding settlements and businessmen of the Industrial Zone stopped the construction of the concrete plant.

In addition, two ministries at different levels, one cantonal and the other federal, did not agree on the final solution. Thus, the Ministry of Spatial Planning and Environmental Protection of Sarajevo Canton rejected twice granting an environmental permit to Kalvarija - Cop for the construction of a concrete factory with a capacity of 80 cubic meters.

As stated in the decision, the mentioned plot is located in a zone defined as "park, rest, recreation", which means that the construction of the concrete plant is in direct conflict with the purpose of the space determined in the regulatory plan. The Ministry of Environment and Tourism of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina received an appeal from the investor Kalvarija - Cop, citing the failure to resolve the case within the legal deadline.

In the meantime, Gudelj hired lawyers and filed a lawsuit against the Municipality of Vogošća, seeking compensation for damages due to the invested money without starting the operation of the concrete plant.

In addition to the 50,000 KM he gave "for a coffee" to Sarajlić, he gave at least 50,000 KM for lawyers, while the damage caused to him amounts to several hundred thousand KM.
