Sarajevo students of psychology organizing protests over the murder of colleagues Selma and Edita

An informal group of Sarajevo psychology students is organizing a protest on Monday titled "You are allowing this," in response to the deaths of two female students, who were killed by Sanjin Sefić after he hit them with his car.
The protests will be held from 4 PM to 6 PM, in front of the National Museum.

- I ask you to recognize the importance of participating in this gathering, to show with your presence that the young people of Sarajevo are not a lethargic mass that will allow the consequences of carelessly led existential issues to endanger their lives day after day – the letter states, published on social networks.

- I ask you to use your civic right to demand with your presence that various government structures stop allowing criminal acts to go unpunished, that we must fight together against ignorance and corruption, against the insecurity and pain that frequent tragedies in this city bring to the families and friends of the victims – the letter further states.

The informal group of psychology students is inviting colleagues from other faculties, as well as high school students, to join them on Monday to send the strongest possible message to the authorities.

The young man who killed the female students was arrested on Monday, two days later in Serbia, after which he will be handed over to BiH authorities.
