Sarajevo Police: Behind the wheel without a driver's license and under the influence of alcohol

On the first day of the weekend, officers of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton, while carrying out regular traffic control measures, filed one request for initiating misdemeanor proceedings and issued 495 misdemeanor orders, while 48 drivers were warned for minor violations, Patria reports.

Twenty-seven drivers were removed from traffic due to driving a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, two drivers without a driver's license, four individuals before acquiring the right to drive a motor vehicle, three motor vehicles due to expired registration certificates, and two vehicles were removed because they were unregistered.

The trend of finding people behind the wheel without a driver's license on Sarajevo's streets every day is alarming.
