Sarajevo police solve vehicle theft in Sarajevo, 21-year-old arrested, car returned to owner

(Patria) - Sarajevo police on Monday around 10 p.m. deprived of liberty K.H., born in 2002 in Zenica, residing in Teočak, due to reasonable suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of Aggravated Theft /Article 287, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina/.

He is suspected that on 29/30 September 2023, from Džemala Bijedića Street, Novi Grad Sarajevo municipality, he stole a passenger motor vehicle which was found in the area of East Sarajevo and returned to the owner.

The duty prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton was informed, and the 21-year-old was handed over to the Detention Unit for Persons Deprived of Liberty of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton.
